 Update and Comments

I am taking this time to provide some updates and comments. This Blog has not been forgotten or forsaken. In the last five months, life has taken a number of twists and turns, yet I am still here and willing to continue with my research. I have been able to hike the remote regions of the National Forests and will hopefully soon report on what has been found. It is a pleasure to once again travel some of the branch lines, and take the time to walk into the woods, where homesteads and camps abound. There is an abundance of history to be written, and someday I hope to find a good editor, resulting in the book project coming to fruition.

At this time, we are waiting for a major stormfront to come through the state, and it may be more dynamic than originally reported. It is hoped that none of the historic areas are damaged; if this happens, then all the more is the need to document them before they are lost to the natural tides of nature. Will be posting again in the near future.
