Take a moment, pause and reflect: isn't this why we are here? (Engine is located on the grounds of the Grand Canyon Hotel, Williams, Arizona.)  The line passes thoruough Cabin Flats Tank, then crosses FR191C. This is where I picked up the grade. According to old maps, the spur circled about, ending up near Kendrick Spring. There is an earthen fill ramp from the road.  Looking across the road, from the fence. The spur inevitably crossed the road at this point, however, it would appear that the grade has eroded over the last century, making it difficult to find. Maybe an adventure for another day. Besides, the fence had barbed wire and I really didn't want to damage my hide.  A short hike, but finding and following spurs in the woods is never a wasted

To simplify understanding, and avoid a very long title sequence, this series will henceforth be entitled either Kendrick North: West Branch, or Kendrick North: East Branch. If you have a forest map handy, these two branches split from the main Bellemont line near North-West Tank, at Cowley Park. This area is on private property and is beginning to be built up. Some of the lines in this area can be seen from the road or accessed by forest roads.  The west branch generally follows a northerly heading, passing along the base of Kendrick Peak, past Crater spring tank and Crater Lake.
