Among the advertisements of the time, and several columns on the Territorial Mining News, an obituary for an unfortunate individual, working for the Saginaw and Manistee logging railroad. Sadly, a pile of logs had given way, crushing the man to death. The logging industry was a dangerous profession, not to be taken lightly.
